Aasara.Rural Development Society

About us

Aasara means support.

We are a voluntary organisation working for the upliftment of rural Telangana — so that young people, women and farmers can build a living in the villages they call home.

Our story

Aasara was registered in 2019 with one objective: to address rural unemployment and create education and work opportunities in remote villages.

Since then, working with government bodies and private partners, we have run skill training in computers, tailoring and small enterprise; promoted organic farming, biochar and Farmer Producer Organisations; and trained tribal farmers from marginalised communities in better cotton cultivation.

Our work is centred on Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet, Vikarabad and Ranga Reddy, and reaches ten districts across Telangana.

Mission

To create employment and self-employment for economically disadvantaged rural youth, through skill development in both agricultural and non-agricultural sectors.

Vision

Villages where every family can earn a dignified living — and no one has to leave home to find it.
